Ozil created the highest number of chances for Germany (2) and also passed with the highest accuracy (96 percent).
The Germany international of Turkish origin was however, sloppy when in possession of the ball at times and was dispossessed more than any other Germany player (3).
The World Cup winner was also presented with the Germany player of the year award in front of the fans on the pitch before the kick-off whistle.
Ozil is also expected to feature against Italy in a few days time before retuning to London for the start of the next round of Premier League football.
