Arsenal star Mesut Ozil has created more chances than any other player in Europe

Arsenal star Mesut Ozil has created the most chances in the whole of Europe according to a recent study by the Daily Mail.

The report claims that Ozil has created a whopping 47 chances this season more than any other player.

The World Cup winner has also provided more assists (9) than any other player in Europe and is currently in his greatest ever form. Ozil created an average of 3.3 chances per-game in Spain but is currently creating 4.7 chances per-match.

Ozil joined the north London based side on a £42.5 million transfer back in 2013 from Real Madrid but came under fire from sections of the press for his languid playing style and was often accused of not working hard enough.

The 27-year-old has been criticised for being lazy in the past but he covered seven miles in the Gunners 3-0 win over Swansea last weekend which was more than any other player.

Arsenal are currently first in the Premier League alongside Manchester City with only goal difference separating the two sides. Ozil has played a major role in the Gunners recent surge in domestic form.
