Mesut Ozil has already broken Steven Gerrard’s and Ryan Giggs’ records for chances created in a season.

The Germany international is well known for his assist tally which currently sits at 17 however, it would be a whole lot more impressive if his teammates were able to convert more of the chances he has created.

With 12 games remaining in the 2015/16 season, the 27-year-old has already created 106 chances for his side.

Gerrard created 104 chances in the 2007-08 season while Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs also made 104 chance in the 2006-07 season.

Ozil played a key role in Arsenal’s 2-1 victory over Leicester City on Sunday.

The Germany international provided the assist for his sides winning goal in the final seconds of the game.

Arsenal moved two points within leaders Leicester City following their victory over the Foxes. The Gunners take on Hull City in the FA Cup this weekend then host Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League next week.
