Arsenal playmaker Mesut Özil has created the most goalscoring chances in the Premier League in this calendar year.
The Germany international has created 76 chances according to the Premier League‘s official website, more than any other player in the division.
Özil played a staring role in the Gunners 2-0 win over Stoke City on Saturday.
The Germany international provided the assist for the Gunners opening goal when he played a long range pass over Stoke’s defence directly into the path of Theo Wacott’s run. Olivier Giroud scored the games other goal giving Arsenal the 2-0 victory.
Özil provided a total of eight key passes which lead to goal-scoring opportunities during the Gunners win over Stoke.
The former Real Madrid man received a rating of 7.9 from whoscored, the Germany international made eight key passes and maintained a passing accuracy of %87
