Arsenal’s star playmaker Mesut Ozil posted a picture of himself in training ahead of tomorrows clash with Southampton in the Premier League.
The 27-year-old sat out of the weekend FA Cup fixture and has been contenting with a slight foot injury in recent weeks.
Ozil uploaded the picture to his Instagram page along with the caption, “Tomorrow matchday! Our target? Return to winning ways in the Premier League.”
Ozil has 16 assists in the Premier League this season and is just four assists away from matching Henry’s record record tally of 20.
The 27-year-old is expected to return to the starting line-up for Arsenal’s Premier League clash with Southampton tomorrow.
Arsenal currently find themselves in third place in the league following a defeat to Chelsea last weekend. The Gunners are just two points above rivals Tottenham who sit in forth place.
