Arsenal playmaker Mesut Özil has posted his second picture of his summer vacation in Istanbul onto the social media website Instagram.
The 27-year-old uploaded a selfie on himself on a boat in Istanbul along with the caption, “M1O #ozil #mesutozil #vacation #fun.”
The 27-year-old played a staring role in Arsenal’s 2-0 victory over Aston Villa in the Premier League.
Özil provided his 13th assist of the season and received a rating of 7.5 from WhoScored. Giroud scored the Gunners opening goal in Arsenal’s 2-0 win over Aston Villa.
The Germany international set-up Aaron Ramsey’s strike which doubled his sides lead. Özil provided key passes, made two successful dribbles and maintained a passing accuracy of 88%.
Özil is has won the Arsenal Vitality Player of the Month award for the past two consecutive months and has 12 assist in 14 Premier League games this season.
