Arsenal’s star playmaker Mesut Ozil has recorded his 19th assist of the season on the final day of the season.
The 27-year-old started the game after missing out on last weekends encounter due to a hip injury.
Ozil provided the assist for Arsenal’s second goal of the game and was taken off in place of Mikel Arteta in the 88th minute.
Arsenal crushed Aston Villa in their final league game of the season to overtake North London rivals Tottenham who suffered a shock 5-1 defeat at the hands of Newcastle United.
Ozil has now setup 19 goals in the league this season just one short of equalling the Premier League record of 20 set by Arsenal legend Thierry Henry.
