Mesut Ozil has taken to social media to reminisce about his summer holidays in the United States.
The 27-year-old spent his vacation in New York and Los Angles along with Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng.
Ozil posted an image on Instagram of himself in New York along with the following caption, “#ThrowbackTuesday #NewYorkCity.”
The 27-year-old has been in impressive form of late scoring goals against Bayern Munich in the Champions League and Manchester United. Ozil also scored in Arsenal’s 1-1 draw with Norwich on Sunday.
Arsenal looked set to record a comfortable victory over Norwich however, the Canaries managed to level the score before half-time. The North London based side were unable to to find the winning goal meaning they were unable to capitalise on Manchester United’s draw with Leicester City.
There was yet more disappointment as Alexis Sanchez picked up what looked to be a hamstring injury. Laurent Koscielny also came off injured to add to Arsenal’s injury woes.
Arsenal host Sunderland at the Emirates Stadium next weekend in the Premier League.
