Mesut Ozil has taken to social media to show off his new haircut.
The 27-year-old looks to be in good spirits just days after Germany’s were eliminated from Euro 2016 by France.
Ozil is spending a well earned break in the United States and has decided to post a picture of his new haircut along with the caption, “New season, new look.”
Ozil started for Germany during their 2-0 defeat to France but was unable to add to his assist or goal tally on the night for the reigning World Cup champions.
Joachim Low’s side dominated possession against the host’s yesterday but were unable to find a breakthrough. Ozil’s Arsenal teammates Laurent Koscielny and Olivier Giroud started for France.
The 27-year-old wrapped up the tournament with one assist – against Ukraine in the group stage – and one goal – against Italy in the quarter-finals.
Ozil finished last season as the leading assist provider in the Premier League (19) and was name Arsenal player of the season.
