Arsenal star Mesut Özil could not forgo the opportunity of using the Germany national team flight as one big Instagram picture taking opportunity.
Özil snapped a picture with Dortmund star Marco Reus with his now iconic red strapped baseball cap.
The World Cup winner added the following caption to picture: “Greetings from the DFB plane to Ireland! Before we are heading back to Germany we can hopefully “book” our ticket to France.”
Germany need just a single point from their next two Euro 2016 Group D qualification games to secure a place in next summers competition and face Ireland next away.
Özil is one of three ethnic Turkish players in the current German national team setup with the other two being Liverpool star Emre Can and Borussia Dortmund midfielder İlkay Gündoğan.
The Turkish national side also has several players born in Germany of Turkish origin such as Hakan Çalhanoğlu, Nuri Şahin and Mehmet Ekici.
