Arsenal have been joined by Serie A duo Inter Milan and AC Milan in the race to sign Turkey international star Oguzhan Ozyakup.

According to the Turkish outlet Fanatik, Besiktas sporting director Ali Naibi has confirmed the Italian duo’s interest in their star midfielder.

The report comes a day after club President Fikret Orman reportedly slashed Ozyakup’s asking price down to £13 million.

Meanwhile, Turkish outlet Fotomac claim that Arsenal are preparing up a £10 million offer for Ozyakup in January.

The 25-year-old has under seven months left on his contract with the Black Eagles, meaning he could leave the club for free next summer.

Arsenal sold Ozyakup to Besiktas for just £400,000 back in 2012 however, they did include a 30% sell on fee in the deal.

The Turkey international has also played a key role in Besiktas’ impressive UEFA Champions League campaign this season.

Arsenal take on their biter rivals Tottenham in the Premier League on November 18.
