Arsenal target Fernando Muslera pulls off wonder saves for Galatasaray

Fernando Muslera put on a man of the match performance in Galatasaray’s 1-0 victory over Mersin Idmanyudu in the 31st week of the Turkish Super Lig.

The Uruguay international made a string of key saves and was dominant in the air for the entirety of the game.

The Premier League trio Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool were all linked with the 28-year-old goalkeeper during the Winter transfer window by the Express.

Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville recently stated that Arsenal need a top class keeper if they are to compete for the Premier League title next season.

“Ospina is obviously a good goalkeeper and he has done well, but he is not a No.1 and they need a top goalkeeper. They need someone who is going to make saves like that [to stop Swansea’s goal] and save his team points,” Neville said speaking on Monday Night Football.

“That’s what Arsenal need. They need a world-class goalkeeper. Petr Cech? I don’t think Jose would like that.”

Muslera has also stated that he has always dreamed of playing in the Premier League.

“The Premier League is my childhood dream. It’s every players dream to play at a top club in England one day, however, that’s up to my club.” Muslera was quoted as saying by NBCsport.
