Arsenal transfer news: £34m Barcelona star fuels exit rumours with London trip
Barcelona star midfielder Arda Turan appears to be nearing a move away from the La Liga giants.
The 30-year-old hasn’t played a single minute of La Liga football following the appointment of Ernesto Valverde over the summer.
According to the Sun, Arsenal are understood to be interested in signing the Turkey international in January. Turkey national team boss Mircea Lucescu revealed that the Gunners had an offer for Turan turned down over the summer.
Turan added further fuel to speculation linking him with a move to Arsenal after making a trip to London this week.
The 30-year-old met with his agent Ahmet Bulut. Turan shared the photos on his social media, including the caption, “Winter is coming.”

Arsenal will be looking to return to winning ways this weekend when they take on Southampton in the Premier League. The Gunners suffered a disappointing 3-1 defeat at the hands of rival’s Man United last week.
