Arsenal transfer news: Gunners line up Brazil international as replacement for Ozil or Sanchez in January
Both Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez’s long-term Arsenal futures are currently cast in doubt.
The duo have under ten months remaining on their contracts with the Gunners and neither appear to be close to penning a new deal.
Sanchez came close to a deadline day exit however, Arsenal put a stop to the move after failing to land a replacement.
According to Italian outlet transfermarketweb, the north London-based club are making plans for life without their star duo.

Per the source, Arsenal have reignite their interest in Brazil international forward Lucas Moura. The report goes onto state that Arsenal are likely to table a bid for Lucas in January if either Ozil or Sanchez decide to leave.
Lucas appears to be surplus to requirements at Paris Saint Germain following the arrival of Kylian Mbappe from Monaco.
The 25-year-old scored 12 goals and provided five assists in Ligue 1 last season.
