Besiktas have been linked with a move for Arsenal’s out-of-favour defender Mathieu Debuchy.

Arsenal transfer news: Mathieu Debuchy linked with Gunners exit, Euro giants prepare €2.5m per season offer

Besiktas have been linked with a move for Arsenal’s out-of-favour defender Mathieu Debuchy.

The Turkish outlet Takvim state that the Black Eagles have drawn up a shortlist of right-back’s. Per the source, Hamburg’s Japanese full back Gotoku Sakai is also on the list.

Takvim go onto say that Besiktas are willing to offer Debuchy a €2.5 million per season deal.

Meanwhile, the French newspaper L’Equipe claims that Ligue 1 giants Marseille are also interested in signing the 32-year-old.

Debuchy is expected to leave Arsenal this summer despite having two years remaining on his contract.

The France international played just one game for Arsenal last season. Debuchy spent the 2015-16 season on loan at Bordeaux. The former Newcastle star has 27 caps for the France national team.

The Gunners take on Stoke City at the Britannia stadium this weekend as they look to record back-to-back victories.
