Arsenal take on Newcastle United at the Emirates Stadium as they look to increase their lead at the top of the Premier League.

The North London based side moved ahead of Leicester City following their 2-0 win over Bournemouth.

Mesut Ozil played a staring role in the win after providing an assist for the opener and scoring his sides second goal to secure all three points.

The World Cup winner has kept his place in Arsene Wenger’s starting line-up in his favoured number 10 role.

Ozil has won the Arsenal player of the month award for the last two months for the north London club and is expected to win the away for a third consecutive time for December.
