Arsenal v West Ham – Confirmed starting line-up’s: Mesut Ozil starts

Arsenal get their 2015-16 Premier League campaign underway against London rivals West Ham at the Emirates stadium on 9 August 2015.

World Cup winner Mesut Özil has been given the start by Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger and summer signing Petr Cech will make his league debut for the Gunners.

Jack Wilshere, Flamini and Rosicky and striker Danny Welbeck are out injured while Alexis Sanchez has yet to regain match fitness after spending the summer with the Chile national team at the Copa America.

West Ham will be without strikers Enner Valencia and Andy Carroll are both injured while on-loan full-back Carl Jenkinson is ineligible to star against his parent club.

The derby also marks West Ham boss Slaven Bilic’s Premier League debut as a manager.
