Arsenal's Gnabry has potential to become a star, says Ozil

Arsenal star Mesut Ozil has stated that Srge Gnabry is a player who he “likes a lot.”

The German winger joined West Brom on loan at the start of the season but failed to break into the first team. Gnabry returned to to Arsenal in February and has been playing for the u21 side.

“Then there’s Serge Gnabry, who I like a lot as a player,” Ozil told Arsenal’s official magazine.

“He’s really robust, very determined and with a real will to win. I think they can really achieve a lot.”

Gnabry made his debut in October but was handed a surprise start in Arsenal’s 3-1 defeat to Barcelona in the Champions League in March.

Ozil has been in exceptional for this season and has provided the highest number of assists in the league this season (18).

Arsenal have moved back into third place in the Premier League following their win over West Brom earlier this week. The north London based side take on relegation battlers Sunderland this weekend.
