Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil congratulates Cristiano Ronaldo for Ballon dOr award

Mesut Ozil has taken to twitter to congratulate Cristiano Ronaldo after he won the 2014 FIFA Ballon d’Or.
The Arsenal play-maker posted a tweet which reads, “Congrats to #CristianoRonaldo! 3x #BallondOr! Respect!”
Ozil played alongside Ronaldo while at Real Madrid. Ronaldo was reportedly ‘angry’ about Mesut Ozil’s departure from Real Madrid.
“He was the player who best knew my moves in front of goal. I’m angry about Özil leaving,” Ronaldo said to the Spanish newspaper AS.
The Portugues international has won the Ballon d’Or world footballer of the year award for the second year in a row.
Ronaldo has made 17 assists and scored 33 goals in 28 appearances so far this season for Real Madrid.
