Arsenal’s star playmaker Mesut Ozil has been spotted in a Hollywood nightclub as he puts Germany’s semi-final exit to France behind him.
The 27-year-old has been given an extended three-week break following a busy summer and may miss the opening weeks of the Premier League.
Ozil was pictured with friends at the Warwick nightclub on Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood.
Ozil was voted voted as Germany’s ‘player of the tournament’ for Euro 2016 on the German FA’s official website. The 27-year-old beat fellow star performers Toni Kroos and Jerome Boateng to clinch pole position.
The Arsenal playmaker scored one goal and provided one assist during Germany’s run to the semi finals. The Arsenal playmaker also boasted a pass accuracy of 91% and created 48 chances for his team-mates throughout the tournament.
Ozil finished last season as the leading assist provider in the Premier League (19) and was name Arsenal player of the season.
