Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil turns his attentions towards the UEFA Champions League clash against Monaco

Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil has stated that he has turned his attention towards his sides UEFA Champions League clash against Monaco.

The 26-year-old played 76 minutes in Arsenal’s 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace on the weekend. The Gunners moved up into third place following the win over their London rivals.

Ozil posted a picture of himself along with the caption, “Top 3 [Thumbs up] Now we have to concentrate on #Monaco!”

The 26-year-old playmaker received a rating of 7.5 from Whoscored. Ozil, who started his fourth Premier League game in a row today, made two key passes, two successful dribbles and maintained a passing accuracy of 83.3%.

The Gunners take on Everton next weekend in the league but first host Monaco in the Champions league on Wednesday.

Özil has scored twice and has provided three assists in his last four league outings since fully recovering from injury.

The German international has made 15 appearances for Arsenal this season in all competitions.
