Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is increasingly wary of both Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez influence at boardroom level according to a report in the Sun today.

The daily tabloid newspaper state that the duo may force Wenger’s hand forcing him to spend big over the summer.

Both Ozil and Sanchez have two seasons remaining on their contracts and both require convincing if they are to sign an extension.

The Germany international recently said that he would decide upon his future after Euro 2016.

“I still have two years contract with Arsenal, as you know, and we will be in talks with the club and we’ll see what happens in the future,” Ozil was quoted as saying by the National.

“But as I said, now I’m concentrating on Euro 2016 in France, which is very important for me and my team after the last World Cup. Then later on, I will see what I do with Arsenal.”

Ozil provided 19 assist over the league campaign and missed out on equalling the all time Premier League record for goals provided which was set by Arsenal legend Thierry Henry.

The 27-year-old has been called up to the Germany national team which will compete at Euro 2016 this summer in France.
