Aston Villa star labels Arsenal's Ozil as the 'king of assists'

Aston Vill’as young star Jack Grealish has heaped praise on Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil after his assist during Germany’s 2-0 win over Ukraine.

The 27-year-old continued his impressive club form into the Euro’s and picked out Bastian Schweinsteiger with a perfectly weighted cross to double his sides lead.

Following the assist, Grealish took to twitter to share his admiration for the former Real Madrid star.

Ozil maintained a passing accuracy of 88%, made 49 passes and created three chances. The Germany international has enjoyed an impressive season winning the Arsenal player of the season award and proving the highest number of assists in the league (19).

The Arsenal star is one of two Germany intentional players of Turkish origin in the side – the other being Liverpool midfielder Emre Can.

Germany take on Poland in their next group game knowing a win will secure their place in the last 16.
