Aston Villa target Ogulcan Caglayan wants to play in England

Kayseri Erciyesspor forward Oğulcan Çağlayan has revealed that he wants to play in England one day.

“I want to play abroad that day could come in the future or now. It would be great to play in the Premier League,” Çağlayan told Eurosport.

The 19-year-old has been closely linked with a move to Aston Villa over the transfer window according to the Fanatik.

Erciyesspor President Ziya Eren has confirmed that the club had received two offers from foreign clubs for Çağlayan.

We have received two offers from two major clubs from abroad,” Eren told AMK.

The Erciyesspor wonderkid and Turkish youth international also stated that he can play in four positions.

“I can play on the left-wing, right-wing, as a forward and behind the striker,” he added.

Çağlayan joined Erciyesspor from Gaziantepspor in February 2015 for €365,000. The young striker now has a market value of €2 million.

The 19-year-old has been capped for the U-16,U-17,U-18 and U-19 Turkish national teams.

Erciyesspor were relegated from the Turkish Super Lig last season after picking up just 27 points in 34 games.
