Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel also returns from suspension and is expected to feature in defence with Emre Can.

The return of Skrtel could see manager Brendan Rodgers revert to a back-three in defence.

Alternatively Can and Skrtel will comprise a four-man defence with Glen Johnson and Moreno as fullbacks due to Mamadou Sakho being out injured.

Aston Villa will be without Ashley Westwood, could be without Gabriel Agbonlahor and Carlos Sanchez misses the clash through suspension.
