Atletico Madrid beat Deportivo 2-0 at the Vicente Calderon stadium to cut the point gap with Real Madrid to four points.

Diego Simeone did not have to wait long for the Rojiblanco’s second, Arda Turan doubled the home sides lead minutes into the second half.
Turan has now scored three times this season and provided four assists.
The Turkish international was recently nominated for UEFA.com users’ Team of the Year 2014.
Atleti moved into second place on 29 points following the win but Barcelona will overtake the Madrid based side if they beat Valencia tonight.
