Hamzaoğlu’s decision to leave Yılmaz out of Galatasaray’s training camp sparked rumours that the experienced winger could be on his way out.
“There is no problem with Aydın Yılmaz at all,” Hamzaoğlu said speaking at a press conference from Galatasaray’s training camp in Antalya.
“He was injured and is currently in rehabilitation, we did not want to interrupt his therapy and force him back before he is ready.”
The 26-year-old has made a total of 135 appearances for Galatasaray but has spent the first half of the 2014-15 season out injured.
