Aykut Demir – ‘Trabzonspor did not lose anything in Warsaw’ [divider]
Trabzonspor defender Aykut Demir believes his side did not lose anything despite the 2-0 loss against Legia Warsaw.
The Black Sea Storm had already qualified for the Europa League Round of 32 but would have clinched first place with a win in Warsaw.
“We wanted to win this game and finish at the top of the group but unfortunately we were not able to do that,” Demir said.
“But don’t forget that we are speaking about the teams which had secured their qualification already.
“We don’t have to worry about this game too much.
“We did not lose anything in Warsaw ,we are still in the Europa League and can focus on a new challenge. I can’t wait for Monday’s draw.”
Trabzonspor will find out their Round of 32 opponents following the Europa League draw on Monday.
