Bakambu scores 3rd hat-trick this season [divider]

Bursaspor striker Cedric Bakambu scored his third hat-trick of the season against Karagümrük in the Turkish Cup.

The Green Crocodiles moved into first place in Group C following the 3-0 win over Karagümrük and secured a place in the Last 16.

Bakambu previously scored hat-tricks against Mersin İdman Yurdu in the Turkish Cup and against Balıkesirspor in the league.

The French U21 striker joined Bursaspor on a £1.6 million move from Ligue 1 outfit Sochaux in the summer.

Bakambu had 21 goals in 107 appearances for Sochaux.

The 23-year-old has 13 goals and three assists in all competitions this season.

The Green Crocodiles are currently fifth in the Süper Lig and managed by former Turkish national team manager Şenol Güneş.

Bursaspor have scored the highest number of goals in the Süper Lig this season (36).

The Crocs also have the second highest goal tall in the cup after Galatasaray – 15 goals in six Group C cup games in contrast to the Lions 20 goals in the group stages.
