Balikesirspor on verge of signing Andrija Vukovic [divider]
RNK Split goalkeeper Andrija Vukovic is on the verge of signing for Balıkesirspor according to club president Tuna Aktürk.
“We have reached a pre-agreement with Croatian goalkeeper Andrija Vukovic,” Aktürk said.
“He will arrive in Turkey later on today and we will iron out the final details.
“Everything is going to plan right now, as long as no last minute problems occur he will sign for Balıkesirspor.”
The 31-year-old keeper has kept six clean sheets in 17 appearances in all competitions this season.
Balıkesirspor have the worst defensive record in the league. The Süper Lig outfit have conceded 33 goals in 16 matches this season.
Balkes are currently last in the Süper Lig with 12 points from 16 matches but are undefeated in their last three games.
