Balikesirspor have begun preparations for this weekend’sTurkish Super Lig clash with Fenerbahce. The Istanbul giants host Balikesirspor at the Sukru Saracoglu stadium on Sunday at 17:00 (GMT).
The relegation battlers new manager Cihat Arslan headed the training session today at the Atatürk Stadium. Gökhan Ünal missed the session due to an injury.
Balıkesirspor sit at the bottom of the league with 20 points in 28 games. Cihat Arslan’s side are eight points away from safety and have won just one games away from home this season.
Fenerbahce slipped down to third place following their 1-1 draw with Eskisehirspor last week and take on Bursaspor in the Turkish Cup today.
