Balıkesirspor set to sign Vitor Gomes from Moreirense

Turkish Super League side Balıkesirspor are set to sign Vitor Gomes from Moreirense. Gomes will become the third Portuguese player in the newly promoted sides squad along with Andre Santos and Nuno Andre Coelho.
Balıkesirspor released a statement on their official website confirming the news. Gomes will undergo a medical and put pent to paper on a deal tomorrow. Financial details of the transfer are yet to be disclosed.

Gomes has scored three goals in 20 appearances for Moreirense this season. The 27-year-old who plays in central midfield is yet to play for the Portuguese national team. The midfielder has previously played for Rio Ave, Cagliari, Videoton and Moreirense.
Balıkesirspor have the worst defensive record in the league. The Süper Lig outfit have conceded 33 goals in 16 matches this season. Balkes are currently last in the Süper Lig with 12 points from 16 matches but are undefeated in their last three games.
