Barcelona and Real Madrid set for transfer war over £70m Tottenham star

Real Madrid

La Liga giants Barcelona and Real Madrid are ready to do battle for Tottenham sensation Dele Alli, according to the Mirror.

Per-the-source, the England international’s impressive form has not gone unnoticed as he has found himself on both Barca’s and Madrid’s transfer shortlist.

The Mirror goes onto state that Tottenham will not accept any bid under £70 million for the 20-year-old. Spurs signed Alli from MK Dons for just £5 million back in February 2015.

Real Madrid previous signed Gareth Bale from Tottenham for a record fee. The Wales international has gone onto establish himself as a key part of Madrid’s starting eleven.

Alli played a staring role during Tottenham’s 2-0 win over league leaders Chelsea earlier this week.

The England international has been in incredible form for Tottenham this season with four assists and 11 goals in 25 apperances in all competitions for Spurs.

Tottenham – who sit in third place in the Premier League – take on West Brom in the Premier League next weekend.
