Mustafa Koç, chairman of Turkey’s biggest company passed away in Istanbul today aged 55 after suffering a heart attack.
Koç was the eldest son of billionaire businessman Rahmi Koç and was appointed chairman of Koç Holding in 2003.
Barcelona sponsor Beko is also a part of Koç holding and club CEO Josep Maria Bartomeu extended his condolences to via a tweet on his official twitter account.

Beko have sponsored Barcelona since 2014 when they signed a four year deal with the Spanish giants.
Barcelona also have partnership deals with two other Turkish firms including Lassa as well as Turkish Airlines.
The holding operates across several sectors including automotive, durable goods, food, retailing, energy, financial services, tourism, construction and IT industries.
The company is the 341st largest in the world and the only Turkish company to feature on the Fortune 500 list.
Barcelona star Arda Turan also extended his condolences to the Koç family.
