Barcelona draw first game since Arda Turan debut but break 28 match unbeaten record

Barcelona were held to a 1-1 draw against Valencia at the Mestalla stadium to progress the Copa del Rey final 8-1 on aggregate.

Barca also extended their unbeaten run to 29 games to break the former record which was held by ex manager Pep Guardiola.

The reigning Spanish Cup champions broke the club record but their 10 games win streak came to an end. Barcelona had won all 10 games since Arda Turan made his debut against Espanyol in the same competition last month.

The bearded winger has however, been in the winning side in all eight appearances he has made for the club.

Turan was rested today as were Bravo, Piqué, Sergio, Alves, Iniesta, Suárez, Messi, Neymar, Mascherano and Alba.

Luis Enrique gave several first team players a rest and his side were losing until Kaptoum equalised on 84 minutes to secure a historic draw for the club.

Turan is expected to return to the team on the weekend against Celta Vigo at the Camp Nou on the weekend.
