Villarreal held Barcelona to a 2-2 draw at the El Madrigal stadium yesterday coming back from two goals behind to force a draw.
Barca managed to extend their unbeaten streak to an unprecedented 39 match games but the draw did mark the end of Turan’s 16 match win streak in games he has featured in for the club.
We took to social media to take a look at how Barcelona fans reacted to Turan’s performance.
Turan played 57 minutes had 48 touches and most impressively of all had a 95 percent pass accuracy.

Turan did not get off to the best of starts and almost scored an own goal hitting the post inside the first minute.

Turan has a reputation as having a hot head especially after his boot throwing incident last season and his early yellow card drew some humorous responses.

Perhaps it was coincidental but Barcelona conceded both goals after Turan was taken off. Barca did lose some of that grit and tenacity the bearded winger brings to games when he was subbed off.

Turan is pretty photogenic when it comes to goal celebrations.

Some fans were more concerned with Turan’s looks than his performance.
Arda Turan is bae, is love, is boss, is life, is everything, is my hapiness https://t.co/QtUgvcKTXG
