Barcelona missing star defender & Arda Turan ahead of PSG Champions League clash

Arda Turan, Aleix Vidal and star defender Javier Mascherano have been ruled out of the Barcelona Champions League squad going into the mid-week clash against French giants PSG.

Barca head coach Luis Enrique will be without Turan who will miss the trip because of an adductor injury to his right leg. Vidal meanwhile dislocated his ankle during the 6-0 victory over Alaves on the weekend and Mascherano has a problem with his left leg according to Marca.

The Turkish football star also missed the game on the weekend due to the same injury.

Turan has been in impressive form this season scoring 13 times and providing seven assists in all competitions.

The 30-year-old attacking midfielder has been in his best form since moving to Spain from Turkey.

Enrique will be able to call on the MSN – Messi, Suarez and Neymar – while Rainha has also made the squad after breaking his nose against Athletic Bilbao.

Rafinha will have to wear a protective mask if he does get the nod to play against PSG.

Barca take on PSG in Paris at the Parc des Princes in their first leg Last 16 Champions League clash.

Barcelona last faced PSG in the Champions League two years ago, beating the French giants 3-1 in Paris in the first leg of their quarter-final tie.

Barca also went onto win the return leg at the Camp Nou 2-0.
