Barcelona news: Luis Enrique given boost with return of star players ahead of Leganes

Barcelona manager Luis Enrique has been given a boost going into the La Liga clash against Leganes on Sunday 17 February at the Camp Nou stadium.

Javier Mascherano returned to training on Sunday but did not join in the team session at the Ciutat Esportiva and instead trained alone in the gym according to Sport.

Arda Turan missed the mid-week Champions League clash against PSG which Barcelona lost 4-0 due to injury but he did return to training on Saturday and could return on Sunday.

Turan also missed the 6-0 victory over Alaves in the league last week due to injury.

The Turkey international star has been in impressive form for Barcelona this season scoring 13 times and providing seven assists in all competitions.

Turan is likely to return, while Mascherano may not recover in time for the Sunday game. One player who will definitely be out is Sergio Busquets who is suspended after picking up his fifth booking last weekend.

Barcelona will be hoping to bounce back to winning ways following the humiliating defeat against PSG.

Barca still have the chance to turn the tie around but will have to score at least four times against the French giants to stand any chance of progression.
