Arda Turan took time out to congratulate the Turkey 19 side following their win over Ukraine u19 by a 4-3 scoreline.
The Barcelona star posted a picture of the u19 team celebrating along with the caption, “Congratulations to our under 19 side who came back from 3-0 down to win 4-3.”
Turkey are unbeaten in their last 10 games and Barcelona star Arda Turan has featured in nine of them.
The bearded winger is yet to play a single game for the reigning La Liga champions due to the FIFA transfer ban but he has been in fine form for his country – the ban does not apply to international football.
Turan played a key role in Turkey booking a place in Euro 2016 against all the odds. The Crescent-Stars had a 2.7 percent chance of direct qualification going into the Czech Republic game but following victories against the Netherlands, the Czech’s and a last minute winner against Iceland Turkey managed to book a place in the summer tournament.
