Barcelona winger Arda Turan has posted a cryptic twitter post in which he is pictured training alongside Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez alongside the caption: “The gang! Looking forward to playing together…”
The reigning La Liga champions have asked permission for Turan to replace Rafinha who will be operated on after suffering a cruciate ligament injury.

Barcelona signed Turan on a five-year-old deal from Atletico Madrid over the summer but have been unable to register the bearded winger until the turn of the year due to the FIFA transfer ban currently in place.
The Turkish international winger has yet to make his debut or even receive his Barcelona shirt number due to the ban. The 28-year-old is however, permitted to play international football.
Turan states that he is looking forward to playing together with his new teammates which has been interpreted in some sections of the media as a suggestion that the bearded winger is going to start playing for his new side before January 4 2016.
Speaking to Sport former Barcelona president Toni Freixa claimed that the club have already served their transfer ban and could ask for a permit under Article 123 of the Spanish Football Federation’s law book.
“FIFA sanctioned Barcelona for two transfer windows, last winter and this summer, and they’ve since passed,” he told Sport.
