Barcelona winger Arda Turan has praised his teammates Lionel Messi on becoming a father for the second time and beating Atletico Madrid.
Messi starred in the 2-0 victory over the Madrid based side scoring his 8th goals goal of the season in the process.
Turan shared a picture on his Instagram account praising Messi’s performance: “With the best father congratulations again.”
Barcelona moved into first place in the La Liga table following the victory over the 2014 champions.
Turan was unable to play against his former side due to the FIFA transfer ban imposed on Barcelona which runs until the turn of the year.
The 28-year-old joined the La Liga champions on a five-year deal from Atleti but will have to wait until January before he can make his debut.
Turan is however, able to play international games and starred in the 3-0 victory over the Netherlands in Euro 2016 Group A.
Barcelona start their defence of the Champions League title on Wednesday against Roma in their opening game of the competition.
