Barcelona star Arda Turan has revealed that Beşiktaş is his favourite team to watch in Turkey.
“I enjoy watching Beşiktaş the most, I am a Galatasaray fan but I love to watch Beşiktaş,” Turan told Lig Tv.
Turan did however, state that Beşiktaş need to perform better in big games this season if they want to win silverware.
“The players at Beşiktaş need to learn how to become winners it needs to become a habit all that is important is winning they need to raise their performance in big games,” he added.
Beşiktaş are currently third in the Turkish Super League with six points after three games.
The Black Eagles have scored more goals than any other side in the league this season (10) and have the best goal average (+6).
The Istanbul giants head coach Şenol Güneş likes to play attacking football and the Bursaspor side he was in charge of last season finished the league campaign as top scorers with 66 goals.
Beşiktaş will also compete in the Europa League this season and have been drawn against Sporting Lisbon, Lokomotiv Moscow and Skanderbeu.
