Barcelona’s star midfielder Arda Turan is expected to miss his sides clash with Deportivo La Coruna tonight.

The Spanish newspaper Marca have reported that the Turkish international missed training due to gastritis and that he is expected to sit out of tonights La Liga game.

Turan also missed the 2-1 defeat against Valencia last week due to suspension but he will be eligible to play tonight if fit.

Barcelona are on a bad run after losing their last three successive games against Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Valencia. Barca have been knocked out of the Champions League and have seen their 10 point lead at the top of the table reduced to being leaders based on goal difference.

The Blaugrana head into the game in crisis having lost three of their last five games, exiting the Champions League and blowing the seemingly sewn up title race wide open.
