The Brazil international fullback Adriano has been omitted from Barcelona’s pre-season squad sparking speculation that he is nearing a move away from the La Liga champions.

According to Squawka, the move to leave Adriano out of the England camp means his exit from Barcelona is imminent.

Besiktas recently confirmed that they are in talks with Barcelona over the signing of Adriano. The Black Eagles have struck a deal with both the 31-year-old full-back and Barcelona. The transfer is expected to be completed by the end of this week.

Adriano is put pen-to-paper on a three-year deal with the Istanbul Giants who will compete in the UEFA Champions League this season.

The 31-year-old has won Spanish league four times and the Copa del Rey on three occasions with Barcelona. Adrianohe also won the Spanish cup a further three times and two Europa Leagues with Sevilla.
