Barcelona team news: Star midfielder returns from injury to fly with squad to Madrid

Turkey international Arda Turan has been included in Barcelona’s squad which will face Atletico Madrid this weekend.

The 30-year-old missed Barcelona’s previous two games due to a hamstring injury but returned to first-team training on Thursday.

Manager Luis Enrique has decided to include Turan in his squad which flew to Madrid today.

Barcelona have the chance to temporarily leap frog Real Madrid into first place, should they record a win over Atleti on Sunday. Real Madrid will however regain top spot if they manage to defeat Villarreal on Sunday evening.

Turan missed both Barcelona’s humiliating 4-0 defeat at the hands of Paris Saint Germain in the UEFA Champions League and his sides 2-1 win over Leganes.
