Barcelona v Sporting – Probable Lineups – Arsenal target nearing exit after being dropped

Barcelona take on Portuguese giants Sporting Lisbon in the UEFA Champions League tonight.

The La Liga side have already secured their place in the next round following three wins and two draws after five games.

Sporting Lisbon can still qualify however, they need to defeat Barcelona and hope Juventus drop points against Olympiakos.

Barcelona boss Ernesto Valverde is expected to rotate his squad for tonight’s clash however, Arda Turan has not been included in the match day squad.

The Turkey international has fallen out of favour at Barca following Valverde’s appointment, the 30-year-old is yet to make a La Liga appearance this season.

Interestingly, Turan was spotted in London on Monday alongside his agent Ahmet Bulut.

The Turkey international has been linked with a move to Arsenal in recent months. According to the Mirror, Turan remains a target for the North London-based club.
