Başakşehir make offer for former Chelsea & Real Madrid star

Turkish Super League side Istanbul Basaksehir have made an offer for AC Milan’s experienced midfielder Michael Essien according to the Sky Italia pundit Gianluca Di Marzio.
According to the report on Di Marzio’s website, Basaksehir have offered a one and a half year deal to the former Chelsea and Real Madrid midfielder.
The report goes onto state that Milan is willing to let the 32-year-old leave, so it will be up to the player to decide if he’ll accept Basaksehir’s offer.

Essien has also been linked with a January move to Trabzonspor. The Ghana international’s agent Fabien Piveteau spoke with Calcionews24 regarding transfer speculation surrounding his client.
“We have had contact from a couple Premier League clubs. We also have received an offer from Trabzonspor,” Piveteau stated.
“In fact, we have also met with Trabzonspor several times.
Essien has made nine appearances for Milan this season.
