Bayern Munich are plotting a move for Manchester City wonder-kid Enes Unal according to Turkish newspaper Yeni Safak.

Bayern could face competition from Borussia Dortmund, Lazio and Monaco for his signature.

The report claims that City value Unal as being worth £8.4 million.

The Citizens paid £2 million for the Turkish international after signing him from Bursaspor in 2015.

A source close to the player told Turkish-Football that City want to keep Unal on and that the current plan is to send him on loan to a more competitive team.

Despite being linked with several clubs across Europe, City are keen to keep hold of their wonder-kid.

Unal is currently on loan at FC Twente where he has scored 18 goals and provided four assists.

Despite being in great form as things stand he would not be able to play in the Premier League next season.

The Home Office rules state that Unal has to play 60 percent of Turkish national team games over a two-year period.

The rising star could however, be given a special exemption on the basis of his talent if City make an appeal.
