Benfica are in talks with Bursaspor wonder-kid Ozan Tufan according to Beyaz Transfer presenter Ertem Şener.
Beyaz Transfer is a popular football show broadcasted on Beyaz Tv and Şener revealed the details of talks live on air.
Şener stated: “Beşiktaş are also in talks with Ozan but if they cannot complete the deal by Tuesday it looks like he will be joining Benfica who have also been in negotiations.”
Bursaspor recently rejected a €5 million bid from Beşiktaş for Tufan according to club president Recep Bölükbaşı.
Tufan shares the same agent as Barcelona star Arda Turan – Ahmet Bulut. The agent operates with Gestifute who have close ties to the Portuguese giants.
Manchester United have also been closely linked with the Turkish international over the past season. The Premier League giants have been keeping close tabs on Tufan according to his father.
“Other big European teams have sent scouts to watch Ozan play…AC Milan, Juventus, Chelsea and both Manchester clubs, City and United,” Mehmet Tufan told Spanish newspaper AS.
The 20-year-old midfielder has also been closely linked with a move to Atletico Madrid as well as fellow La Liga outfit Valencia.
