Napoli have chance to show ‘strength’ against Trabzonspor [divider]
Napoli have a chance to show their strength against Trabzonspor according to Rafa Benitez who spoke to UEFA following the Europa League Round of 32 draw.
“Against Trabzonspor, we will have the opportunity to show our strength and prove that we want to go a long way in the UEFA Europa League,” Benitez said.
Trabzonspor are certainly strong opponents, but there are only good teams in this phase of the Europa League so it doesn’t make much difference.
In Turkey, fans are very passionate. I expect a very difficult game in the first leg and a lively atmosphere, but to play the return leg at home is always a small advantage.”
Napoli will face Trabzonspor for the first time in European competition.
Trabzonspor are also currently eighth in the Süper Lig with 18 points from 13 games.
Napoli finished Group I in first place on 13 points and are currently seventh in the Serie A on 24 points.
